About this deal

The Kingavaon heater is rated 3KW and gives out more heat, which is why it’s a better choice. Something I have noticed is that so many electric fan heaters are only 2-2.5KW, and for me, these are just not large enough even for a small garage, especially if your garage is not particularly well insulated like mine. I’m a big fan of diesel space heaters, you can even run them on paraffin and Kerosene but I actually use red diesel. They are very efficient, maybe the most efficient in comparison to gas and electric heaters. They can heat up large garages with ease and burn cleanly. I like that most models also have a built-in thermostat to control the temperature. Finally, as the fuel tank is underneath them and you don’t need to find space for a gas bottle, they are also compact which is a big plus. Look for safety features The Igenix IG9514 Portable Upright 3 Bar Halogen Electric Heater has been designed to be energy-efficient and economical to run. With this heater, you do not have to spend a fortune to keep your house toasty warm. Finally, it has a rating of IP44 and which means that it is safe for use and has passed UK safety standards. Pros Since halogen heaters contain halogen, it assists them in having a long usage life. Typically, their bulbs have quartz that is fused to assist them in providing high radiation and last long. They can radiate continuous high energy through their entire life cycle. What’s more, their halogen cycle assists them to be more durable and generate maximum luminous energy. Flexibility and Controllability

Also, the Kingavon Portable Halogen Electric Radiator has a 70-degree rotation feature. This feature allows the device to radiate heat to every part of the room from a single position. Moreover, this heater is equipped with an auto-safety cut-off and tip-over switch to forestall overheating or electrical hazards. If you’re looking for a heater that won’t use much power and helps cut costs on energy bills, your best bet is a halogen heater, a convection heater or an oil-filled radiator, particularly if they have effective thermostat controls. The ideal is to find a heater that maintains a constant temperature without running at full tilt at all times. Fan heaters are more expensive to run but can heat up a room faster. However, if that room is poorly insulated or draughty you’ll find you’re turning on for another blast more often, driving up the running costs. Are there any other features I should look out for? Sealey AB458 Space Warmer – Paraffin Kerosene & Diesel Heater– Compact and great for large garages/workshops. The Kingavon BB-FH207 Industrial Heater is dependable for heating small spaces. You will realise that the unit cannot support heating larger rooms due to its lower-powered design.Adjustable heat settings, wide-angle oscillation, lightweight design, auto start/stop times, safety tip-over feature. Kingavon 3 kW Industrial Heater– The best garage heater for most people; powerful, easy to use and affordable. The safety tip-over switch will guarantee peace of mind. It automatically switches off the unit when necessary.

While generally more expensive due to their energy efficiency and durability, the cost of halogen heaters also depends on the size, with larger lamps being costlier as they consume more energy and are designed for larger spaces. The Warmlite WL42005N Fan heater lets you keep the home or office warm and comfortable throughout the winter with a power ranging from 400 W to 1,200 W to play with. The unit consists of three push-button heat settings for you to choose from. The unit heats your space within minutes and does it evenly thanks to the wide oscillation feature. The heat is distributed evenly across the room guaranteeing the comfort of all in the room. That’s why you need to invest in this unit without further delay. Features While the most straightforward models are simple on-off units, more advanced heaters will have varying controls. These will allow you to adjust the temperature, the fan speed and even set timers. It’s up to you how many bells and whistles you think is necessary. Energy efficiency As far as effectiveness is concerned, the Kingavon Portable Halogen Electric Heater is one of the best. This electric heater has a maximum power rating of 1200 watts. This is quite powerful and will supply enough heat to sufficiently warm a fairly large room. However, to make it more versatile, so that people in smaller spaces can also use it, it is designed with variable power settings. Apart from the maximum 1200W, you can adjust the power setting to two lower levels (800 and 400W) to suit the demands of your room or office.

Looking for a set of compact halogen heaters that will keep you warm in the cold? Then buy the TOOL-GENIUS® Halogen Heater. You get two compact heaters that go anywhere you need an extra source of heat. The heaters have multiple settings and they also oscillate which ensures that you get the heat you need on demand. The heaters are small enough to go anywhere, but they put out powerful heat that is going to keep you warm at all times. Features The downside to these is you obviously have to connect them to a gas bottle like you do a gas BBQ using a regulator, as shown in the picture above. The type of regulator you will need depends on the gas bottle you use or have. So you may need a 27mm clip-on regulator for a patio gas or a screw-in high-pressure adjustable propane regulator for propane gas bottles. One feature this model does have that the more expensive Kingavon model doesn’t have is the frost watch function. If the temperature falls below 5°C the unit will re-activate itself keeping the room at a reasonable temperature at all times. This feature cannot be found on all models and it’s also worth noting that this model could also double up as a greenhouse heater because of this feature. It’s also good because it helps maintain a consistent temperature, so if you have sheets of thin plywood in your garage or workshop (something I have) it can help prevent it from warping.

This portable heater has a 90 degrees oscillation system. It allows the unit to oscillate 90 degrees left and right. As such, the heater can distribute the heat produced more evenly throughout the room, without manual intervention. Before I get into this heater in more detail, I just want to discuss what to expect. So with a well-insulated single garage/workshop, a 3kW electric heater will heat and maintain a temperature from freezing to a reasonable working temperature with no problem. However, if it’s drafty or you need to leave the door open to air the garage like I do, for example when I’m spraying projects or using my laser cutter, the electric heater will be okay for heating the spot I am standing working, but not the whole garage if you know what I mean. This is why I also use a gas powered space heater in my own garage as well as an electric one. If you are on the market for a portable heater, the Igenix IG9514 Portable Upright 3 Bar Halogen Electric Heater is a great choice. This portable heater has been optimised to be safe, efficient while still being effective at heating space. Moreover, you can use the heater to warm a wide variety of spaces including your in-door home space, the garage, a caravan, home and much more. FeaturesThis heater is sold as suitable for heating up to 60 metres squared, so I took it to my dad’s garage. This is a timber-type garage with stables attached, it’s a good-sized garage and more of a workshop, really. Now it’s not insulated, but it is what I would call airtight (not drafty) and it did get the garage to a reasonable temperature and maintain it in around 30m minutes. Despite this, I feel the gas or diesel heaters, such as the Sealey AB458 Space Heater or GardenMile 10Kw Industrial Space Heater would have been a much better option (this is what he usually uses). So I would say this heater was better for smaller garages or maybe well-insulated larger garages and workshops. I really believe that you can’t beat space heaters that run on paraffin, kerosene and diesel. They are very efficient, burn cleanly with no fumes when they go out and have a good running time. They will easily run for 18 to 14 hours on a single tank of fuel so you get a few days’ work out of a full tank. The heater comes with three preset heat settings. Low, medium and hot. These settings are thereto give you a choice on the type of heat you require or what according to the underlying conditions. Halogen heaters are generally heaters that contain the halogen element in their heating lamp and bulb. The confusion comes in because the halogen available in the halogen lamps isn’t the actual heating element. The main reason they are known as halogen lamps is that in the halogen lamps, there are halogen gases that play the role of increasing the brightness of the bulbs, as well as lengthening its lifespan. What’s more, the halogen protects the halogen from darkening. As a result, halogen lamps are pretty safe to work at higher temperatures than lamps that don’t use halogen gas. The heater produces heat on demand and you don’t have to wait. Plug the heater and you get heat instantly. It provides heat to those in cold areas and nobody gets left out.
